Colson Fellows

Think biblically. live boldly.

The Colson Fellows Program is a 9-month intensive study in Biblical Worldview, beginning each August. Through a carefully curated curriculum, participants learn to recognize and evaluate worldviews as they appear in today’s ideas, philosophies, policies, and practices. The program explores key cultural issues such as race, sexuality, religious liberty, government, economics, and the sanctity of life. Fellows also reflect on their personal calling and develop a practical plan to align their lives and leadership with God’s purpose.

  • 24/7/365 access to the Colson Fellows Online Learning Platform
  • Regular cohort meetings facilitated by commissioned Colson Fellows
  • Twice-monthly video webinars in which you are able to interact with authors from the reading list and other leading worldview scholars
  • Interactive daily devotionals that weave together all course components
  • Assistance developing a teaching practicum and three year plan in which you will apply what you have learned
  • StrengthsFinder assessment
  • Lifetime access to Colson Center resources and ongoing worldview education
  • Inclusion into a network of over 2,500 Colson Fellows working across the globe in various spheres of Christian ministry.

Tuition for participation in the Colson Fellows Program is $900. However, in partnership with the Colson Center, Emmanuel Community Church is able to partially waive a significant amount of the fee, making the final cost $515

Separate from tuition costs, participants will need to purchase books from a source of their choosing, such as Amazon. The estimated book cost is an additional $200. You may choose the format that best suits you (Kindle, Print, or Audio).

  • Applications are due by July 1.
  • Book lists will be emailed in early July.
  • The online curriculum begins August 1, with an orientation meeting taking place that month.
  • In-person cohort discussions will meet twice a month on Thursday evenings (6:30–8:00pm), September through May.
  • Students should plan to spend 6–8 hours per week engaging with the curriculum throughout the program.
  • Those who complete the program will be commissioned in May.

Registration for the 2025–2026 program year is now closed. Registration for the 2026–2027 year will open in spring 2026.

Questions?

If you have any questions about the Colson Fellows Programs, you can reach out to Erin Stringer.

The Colson Fellows program helped my wife and I to look deeply at current cultural issues and put them up against our Christian faith. In a polarizing world, this program helped us to understand how we can keep Christ at the forefront of all we do, and to discern cultural messages which can lead us astray. Since completing this program, we feel more confident in biblically raising our kids and helping them know we are: created in the image of God, broken individuals through the curse of sin, redeemed by the work of Jesus, and agents of restoration.
