Care

God has called us to “bear one another’s burden’s”.

Sometimes you need someone to pray with or talk to in the midst of anxious times, difficulties, or crises.
At other times, you may want to reach out and provide encouragement and hope to others.

It’s God design that we give and receive care in the body of Christ, the church.

Receive Support from a Stephen Minister

Stephen Ministers are trained members of ECC who walk with you when support and encouragement are needed most. Stephen Ministers are an expression of Christ’s love and care through having an individual listen, support, pray, and help you, as a care receiver, explore feelings and emotions without being judgmental.

Funeral Meal Ministry

The Funeral Meal Ministry helps those grieving by preparing and serving a meal for the family attending a funeral service held at ECC.

Care Meal Ministry

Care Meal Ministry provides a much-appreciated break from making dinner for families going through a life change. How does it work? You make a dish at home that could be refrigerated or frozen, and then baked or microwaved by the family. Meals can either be dropped off at the church or at the home of the family.

Helping Hands

Stephen Ministry

A Stephen Minister is a layperson from Emmanuel Community Church who provides one-to-one Christian care for ECC attenders during a difficult time in life. When we face these storms, it is helpful to have someone come alongside us to provide Christ-centered support, encouragement, and prayer.
