Care meal team

Whether it be a new baby, surgery, health complications, or a family in need, a home-baked meal can be a huge blessing for such a situation. Care Meal Team Members make a dish at home that can be refrigerated or frozen, and then baked or microwaved by the family. Meals can either be dropped off at the church or at the home of the family.

funeral meal team 

We serve families of ECC after a funeral by offering a meal, giving comfort to those grieving and a place for fellowship. Funeral Meal Team Members serve by preparing, setting-up, serving, and cleaning up the meal.

Helping hands

The Helping Hands Team provides a tangible expression of Christ's love by meeting physical needs. Service opportunities include indoor and outdoor projects, and at times, the team responds to emergency and relief situations to support recovery and clean-up efforts.

Minimum Age: 16

Commitment: as needed

prayer team

The ECC Prayer Team serves behind-the-scenes to pursue faithful, consistent, and bold prayer. Prayer Team Members receive weekly prayer requests collected from the congregation during services, as well as periodic requests for immediate prayer. As a member of the team, you will make a commitment of confidentiality and will not share information received with any other party.

stephen minister

Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one Christ-centered care to support people facing life challenges. In order to prepare to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of others, Stephen Ministers attend nine weekly training sessions. Once trained, they meet weekly with their care receiver to provide Christ-centered support, encouragement, and prayer.

Minimum age: 21

Commitment: 1 year
