Our goal is to make each person who walks through the doors at Emmanuel feel invited and welcomed. Greeters are a key part of this experience, as they open doors and engage those attending with a welcoming smile and hello.

outdoor team
The Hospitality Outdoor Team plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming and safe atmosphere for both guests and regular attenders arriving on campus. They coordinate pedestrian crossings, help keep traffic moving smoothly and ensure safety for everyone. Team members are trained to speak up if something seems off and to assist if incidents occur on property. They are the first impression for visitors on campus and thus are a key part in creating a welcoming experience for first time attenders.

usher
Ushers help remove the distraction and potential stress of finding a seat during weekend services so that attenders can focus their attention on worship and connecting with others. They also assist staff by determining attendance in each location on site and collecting and securing offering baskets.

Welcome Center Team
The Welcome Center Team helps first-time guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Team members welcome new guests, answer questions, share a first-time guest gift, and help families find their way to kids check-in and into the service. They are often a guest’s first personal connection at Emmanuel, so they play a big part in making the first visit set up the second.
