Audio Engineer

Audio Engineers create an environment where the congregation can connect with God through the seamless integration of sound during weekend services. They are responsible for ensuring clear, balanced sound. They operate audio equipment, troubleshoot issues quickly, and collaborate with the Worship Team to enhance the worship experience. Their role ensures that both in-person and online attendees can fully engage with minimal distractions. Audio Engineers can choose to serve on weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis.

Minimum Age: 18

Commitment: 1 year, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly

Camera operator

Camera Operators creatively capture key moments in weekend services, ensuring both in-person and online attendees can fully engage in the worship experience. They work to visually enhance the service by framing shots that highlight the message and atmosphere. Their role ensures a smooth, dynamic presentation of the worship experience across all locations. Camera Operators can choose to serve on weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis.

Editors work under the supervision of the Communications Coordinator and use their creative skills to recap events and highlight opportunities to become involved in the life of the church.

Graphics and Lighting Operators help create an immersive worship experience by visually guiding attendees through the service. They manage pre-programmed slides, text, and graphics, enhancing the atmosphere, and operate pre-set lighting cues to support the worship environment. Operators participate in rehearsals before services to ensure smooth execution. They can serve on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis.

ministry media leader

Each ministry at Emmanuel plays an integral role in the building of disciples and has a story to tell. Ministry Media Leaders partner with a specific ministry in the church and become its primary source for media content. They are responsible for taking photos and videos at the ministry's events and submitting them to that ministry's Social Media Contributor. They are always on the lookout for stories of life change!

Minimum Age: 18

Commitment: twice a month, 1 year

Photos are a compelling way to tell the story of what God is doing in and through His people at Emmanuel. Photographers are needed for many of the larger events at Emmanuel as well as for weekend services. Those interested need basic photography skills, but will be provided with opportunties to grow their craft through workshops offered throughout the year.

Service Producers help to create a seamless worship experience by overseeing the coordination and flow of the service. They are responsible for managing the overall service timeline and ensuring all elements of the service run smoothly. They work closely with the worship team, media, and production crew to coordinate transitions, manage cues, and troubleshoot any issues in real-time. Additionally, they coordinate timing between multiple venues across the campus to ensure a unified worship experience for all attendees, both in-person and online. Service Producers can choose to serve on weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis.

Social media amplifies the opportunity for impact by connecting people to the message of Christ throughout the week. The Social Media Contributor works with the Communications Coordinator to create posts for Emmanuel's Instagram and Facebook accounts.

They ensure that the stage is prepared and cleared efficiently between transitions, allowing for a smooth and focused worship experience. Stage Managers can choose to serve on weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis.

Visual Content Organizers play a vital role in helping to create a distraction-free and engaging worship experience by preparing and organizing slide content ahead of time. They are responsible for creating and organizing slides in ProPresenter for the upcoming weekend services. They ensure that all song lyrics, Scripture, announcements, and other visual elements are accurately set up and ready to go. Their role supports the Worship Team by ensuring that the presentation content is prepared and ready for smooth execution, allowing the congregation to focus fully on worship.

Minimum Age: 18

Commitment: twice a month, 1 year
