Listen

This weekend we keep listening to Genesis 1:3–13, the first three days of creation. And if you listen closely, you'll hear something. A beat. A rhythm. Maybe more than one rhythm. In other words, God isn't just making a world. He's keeping time. He’s making music.

THIS WEEKEND, we’ll begin a five-week study of Genesis 1. Conversations about creation often move quickly toward big questions, debates, and positions, and for good reason. But before we ask the Bible to answer our pressing questions, we would do well to simply listen.

As we begin at the beginning, we’ll seek to hear God’s Word on its own terms. We may discover He’s speaking to something deeper and more important than we tend to think.
